Key Maths is a series of Student Workbooks and Teacher Editions designed to complement any mathematics program or textbook, and aligns with both the National Numeracy Benchmarks and the National Statements of Learning for Mathematics.
 
Tasks in the Student Workbook ensure students have many opportunities to develop conceptual understandings while the series of portfolio tasks provide unstructured, multi-levelled questions linked to the content being taught.
 
Maths language skills and mathematical literacy are developed through the comprehensive plain English Maths Glossary and the design and wording of the tasks. Students are asked to explain or justify their reasoning in their own words.
 
Key Maths develops great problem solving skills by teaching a clear set of strategies and provides students with opportunities to apply mathematical knowledge to unfamiliar problems.
